Chip Sales
By now, most active players have noticed that we are selling off the chip holdings of inactive players. The net effect has been a significant (60% or more) reduction in the value of chips, as this untapped supply has found its way to the market.
This infusion of chips into the market has had another impact, namely the removal of significant amounts of cash from active play. As of this posting, players have spent B$ 8.2 quadrillion to purchase chips at prices as low as B$20 million apiece. Over 19 million chips have been sold off.
We see little end in sight for the sales, with B$ 936 billion moving so far today. Keep your bids in, you never know when a great deal will come along!
