Artefact PRD

Public Relations Disaster, or PRD is a type of Artefact usage.

This move enables the player to destroy the share price of a blog (stock) in the artefact's industry. The market price will drop by 20-50%. Repeated usage on the same blog within 24 hours will have less effect.

Net Effects

For shareholders in the blog, they will see a loss in the value of the stock shares they are holding (including the blog owner's shares), decreasing their Net Worth. Blog owners have options to retaliate against a player doing this to their blog stock (as above). PR Disasters often precede HTO's, but may also be useful to decrease an overly inflated price or P/E ratio of a blog stock, enabling Public Market trading to take place by lowering the P/E below 750... so it's not always a bad thing to have happen; it depends how it's used.
