Black Friday

Black Friday is a historical event in the Blogshares universe. It occurred on Novemeber 25th, 2005 and mimicked some of the effects of the stock market during the actual Black Friday even at the beginning of the Great Depression in the USA.

Although many of our players were around in those days, my memory is a bit rusty. The effects were:

• a 10,000 to 1 revaluation of the B$ dollar across the board with the exception of money held in shares.
• The ideas market was closed for a number of hours to let the effects propagate without people unloading ideas.
