Tags Overview

Tags are used in help wiki entries to point anyone wishing to make edits in the right direction. Please use them as follows:

Tags for Editing

When you are going to make a major edit to a page (something beyond a simple spelling or grammar fix), you should insert {{inuse}} at the top of the page, and save it before continuing. This will help insure that someone doesn't beat you to doing the same thing :)

		Edit In Progress
		This article has been tagged as editing in progress.
		This article is currently being worked on. Check the history log to see who is working on it right now! Please hold any edits or changes until that user finishes with their work. If this tag has been here longer than 24hrs, please remove it and inform the user who originally set it.

Article Problems

These are tags to alert editors and other users to major problems with the article.

• For articles with incorrect grammar or spelling, insert {{grammar}} at the top of the file.

		Grammar
		This article has been tagged as needing grammar changes.
		A article needing grammar changes is an article that has multiple uses of poor grammar or spelling. They are in need of a proofreader in most cases.

• For articles that are either incomplete or need some general clean up, insert {{cleanup}} at the top of the file.

		Clean Up Article
		This article has been tagged as needing cleanup.
		An article needing cleanup is an article that has the required information but needs style, grammar, and possible syntax help as well.

• For articles containing only a basic definition and needing a great deal more information, insert {{stub}} at the top of the file.

		Stub Article
		This article has been tagged as a stub.
		A stub article is an entry that contains useful information, but is not informative enough to provide comprehensive knowledge of the topic being discussed. Please help by expanding it.

• For articles containing inaccuracies, incorrect information, or out-of-date information, insert {{update}} at the top of the file.

		Update Article
		This article has been tagged as needing update.
		A article needing update is an article that contains out of date or incorrect information. These are high priority articles.

Section Problems

• For sections containing only a basic definition and needing a great deal more information, insert {{stubsection}} at the top of the section - directly below the header.

Article Enhancements

These are tags to alert editors and other users to smaller problems with the article.

• For articles using multiple synonyms for common blogshares terms - which can be very confusing to new users, insert {{terms}} at the top of the file.

		Terminology
		This article has been tagged as needing terminology revised.
		A article needing terminology revision is an article containing to many blogshares terms synonyms, which can be very confusing for new users.

• For articles that lack screen shots but really need them added, insert {{reqscreen}} at the top of the file.

		Needs Screen Shots
		This article has been tagged as needing screenshots.
		A article needing screenshots is an article that has complete information but would benefit from having detailed screenshots showing the reader what they will see.

Tags for translators

This tag should be added to any non-official translations of official pages - such as the Rules page. Insert {{notofficial}} at the top of the page.

		Not Official
		This article has been tagged as non-official.
		A non-official article is typically an article that is a user-translated version of an official page. Only the official page can be guaranteed to be correct and current, any non-official copy should serve as a guide only.

Tags for administrators

These tags should only be used by members of the BSEC or official editors - They are shown here for you to be familiar with them when and if you ever see them.

		LOCKED!
		This article has been LOCKED.
		Typically this is done because someone has made repeated malicious edits to the page, and the BSEC is actively looking into the possibility of a case. The article has been locked at a known-good version to keep the page history intact until the conclusion of the investigation.
